Co-Manage Network
Some things were better before they were updated, turned into subscriptions, modernized, and outsourced. IT support is one of them.
“Loving your rule” may be how they "get you" in fast food, but in IT things should be done your way — with quality — so you can take a well-deserved break.
Lowcountry Computing has been supporting Charleston area businesses for 20+ years under the same ownership and same direction. Take care of our customers' IT needs so they can take care of their business. That business includes IT and we will do as much or as little as they need.

We are happy to come out and see if we are a good fit for each other. Also you can review each of the following sections for more information:

Everything connected to your network comes from somewhere — multiple vendors, specialized partners, and service providers all play a role.
Your business should own those relationships, but inviting a trusted local IT company to act as the overall contact helps keep operations smooth, troubleshooting fast, and service migrations coordinated. You may not know the firewall or printer technician’s name, but you should know your local on-site IT company.

ROCK - Initial meeting(s)
IT is not one size fits all, and we know we are not the right solution for every company. We would welcome the chance to sit down, hear what you need, and show you what we offer. Even if we are not the right fit, we are part of a rock-solid network of solution providers and locally owned complementary businesses and competitors. Either way, it will be time well spent.
PAPER Looking at current agreements
What agreements are you currently in, what does those agreements cover? Are you looking for one-to-one replacement or a solution to the requirement?
Are you leasing hardware or software that will not remain at the end of the agreement? If end-point protection, firewalls, access points, patch management, and other services are not your property is there a purchase option?
Your agreement(s) may have multiple dates and conditions to terminate. Unless the service is failing we can stage the migration based on these dates so you are not paying two companies for the same service. There will be a little overlap in some services, we try to keep this to 15 days or less.
SISSORS Cut Ties
Final cut over changes the way your company interacts with services and hardware. We are not a MSP and there are a few differences we will hand hold you through it.
- You own the hardware regardless of where it was purchased from and we will work on any hardware you ask us to.
- Services through Lowcountry Computing are purchased yearly, if monthly billing is a better fit for your company we will out source the service.
- Several solutions will require you to invite Lowcountry Computing in as an administrator. This is because you own the service and we are helping you not sell to you.
- Some service and solutions we may suggest other vendors - we should have this setup in PAPER process but this is where it takes effect.
Calling our office 843-766-9268 is the best way to start a service request needing a quick reponce. You're primary contact will receive an email when or CRM processes your call. We do not charge based on how many people can call in a request. We can make suggestions for your company to internally have users check with managers or center point of contact, but that is totally up to you.
You can email a support request to help@lowcountrycomputing.com for non-urgent needs. You're primary contact will receive an email when our CRM processes your email. This allows us access to screen shots and detailed descriptions of request / problem. You can also follow up on the initial email from a call or email to update the ticket.
Please keep the email chain clean. We sometime split request internally into multiple tickets. We will explain if we need to break apart service request. What we ask, please do not reply to an old or existing request with a different or new request. This helps us keep the ticketing clean.
You have John's cell phone to call for emergencies.
John and Tech are not 24x7 support and are often driving or at a customers location.
The office number is monitored by cell phones and automation assuring someone will see that you called.
